With cosmetic procedures becoming increasingly accessible, regulators have responded to the non-surgical cosmetic industry and introduced new guidelines for practitioners. Key Learning Objectives
The importance of assessing a patient’s psychological, social and cultural suitability for a cosmetic procedure under the new guidelines
Identifying and managing psychological red flags in aesthetic patients
The new Ahpra regulatory guidelines and how these are relevant to you
How you can practically apply the new guidelines to your non-surgical cosmetic practice
ACCSM | Facial Anatomy Cadaver Workshop

The Sydney Eye Hospital
FACIAL ANATOMY CADAVER WORKSHOP
Saturday 16 August, 2025
HANDS ON CADAVER TRAINING WORKSHOP
The ACCSM is once again proud to present a rare opportunity for our medical fellows and trainees to participate in our 2nd “Hands-On” cadaver anatomy workshop.
The workshop will take place on Saturday 16 August, 2025 in Sydney immediately following our ever brilliant COSMETEX 25 conference.
An appreciation of anatomy is fundamental to achieving excellence in procedural aesthetic medicine. Unlike most other anatomy workshops where participants are merely confined to a passive observatory role, our workshop is a genuinely “Hands-On” experience under the guidance of team leaders, including Dr Patrica Barrera, Dr David Ong and Dr Ronald Feiner. Our inaugural cadaver workshop in 2024 was a huge success with participants expressing what an unprecedented and highly valued experience it was to be actively involved in anatomy dissecting in an entirely relevant context to our field of clinical aesthetic procedures. This year participants will again have the opportunity to inject colourised fillers and follow-up with dissections to explore whether their deposition was into intended layered anatomy. There will also be opportunity to practice injecting hyalase in/near the supra orbital foramen and to observe the effect of different dilutions of hyalase on the filler that was injected. Furthermore this year we will introduce ultrasound interrogation “on-cadaver” to create further context to contemporary clinical practice.
With limited places available for ACCSM fellows and trainees, we expect the workshop to sell out very quickly, so to avoid disappointment we strongly suggest registration ASAP. FACIAL ANATOMY CADAVER WORKSHOP Saturday 16 August, 2025 HANDS ON CADAVER TRAINING WORKSHOP
Limited places, limit of 4 delegates per specimen
Cost: $1,600 including GST
